"Home of Cordelia (Scrannage) Jones and Marsellus B. Jones, built about 1875. Small house torn down shortly after called Cascade House. This small house was only house on land bought in 1836 from Jonathan & Mary Lynde by my great grandparents. My grandmother & her 2 sisters born here. My grandfather Edward G. Newhall died there age 30 yrs. of TB. Cordelia Jones & Emma Atkinson on piazza."
