The address of the house was originally 9 Jordan Avenue, but was changed when the Jordan Terrace cul-de-sac was constructed. The Queen Anne style house was built around 1885 and is clad in clapboards. There is a large attached barn to the west of the main house. The home was built by Dr. Charles Jordan, a local physician, who moved from Avon Street after buying farmland on the west side of town in the 1880s.
