Title
Flat stone with a hole in the middle at the Cochran Bird Sanctuary
Description
This photo features a flat stone with a concave, hole, or divot with water located among pine needles and greenery.
This stone may be connected to the Thompson Memorial, which was built for Augustus Porter Thompson, P. A. Class of 1892, who was the sanctuary's first manager, and Augustus Porter Thompson, Jr. P. A. Class of 1928, who died a year after graduating. The memorial is a stone bench and the concave stone placed on the top of a hill to overlook the skyline of the campus.
