Trees with a shaded area with a stone bench in Cochran Bird Sanctuary
Description
An image with several trees and bushes (mainly pines and rhododendrons) with a stone bench in the center. The bench is made up os several smaller stones and may have a capital A in the center.
This may be the Thompson Memorial bench, which was built for Augustus Porter Thompson, P. A. Class of 1892, who was the sanctuary's first manager, and Augustus Porter Thompson, Jr. P. A. Class of 1928, who died a year after graduating. The memorial is a stone bench and the concave stone placed on the top of a hill to overlook the skyline of the campus.
