Stone Lantern and plaque in Cochran Bird Sanctuary
-
A still image stone lantern with a plaque at its base. The top of the lantern is cut off in the picture. The bottom is covered with moss and has a possibly bronze plaque. The image is too blurry to make out the text. All of this is set in a clearing surrounded by trees.
-
This maybe the Stone Lantern given by the Class of 1943 in memory of their classmates who died serving the country in World War II in the Pacific Theater.
