Nate Gravel, VP of Information Security and IT at GRAVOC, a consultant for small and mid-size businesses; IT services provider and security services. Businesses are working differently now, working and collaborating remotely and securely. Mr. Gravel emphasized the need for secure browsing and e-mail use. More malware is being used (e.g. Zoom bombing). Advice for using Zoom--Zoom is managing new vulnerabilities very well; it is important to update Zoom when prompted. Recommens using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) if possible. What is a VPN and how can that help? Virtual Private Network--set up by IT administrators; secures connectivity between your home and work systems. Recommends education by companies for staff to ensure secure practices. Advises users to be aware of targeted vulnerabilities in existing collaboration tools.
