Queen Anne Victorian House at 24 Vinton Street: Melrose, Mass.
-
South-side view of a large three-story Queen Anne Victorian house with attached solarium, wrap-around porch and turret on 24 Vinton Street, Melrose, Mass. This historic house belonged to Charles H. Isburgh from the 1870s until it was sold to Alfred H. Colby in 1902.
-
This house replaced the house in image MCA_001 around the early 1870s. Note the twin trees to the right of the granite stairs and the rock formation to the left of the stairs. These landmarks appear in each of the different houses rebuilt on the lot. The house is now a multiple family dwelling.
