Reading Local History Books

The Reading Public Library owns books about Reading history which are also available online through the efforts of the Internet Archive.
The Internet Archive is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 to create an online digital library and preserve it for current and future researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public. The digitization of our library's books was made possible by grants from the Reading Celebration Trust.
