Welcome to the NOBLE Digital Heritage
NOBLE Digital Heritage, a project of the North of Boston Library Exchange, Inc. (NOBLE) and our member libraries, is a collection of resources documenting the rich social and cultural history of our member communities.
To date, our libraries have contributed over 6,000 items to the collection. The majority of these items are images, dating from the mid-nineteenth century to 2016. The collections also include recordings from two oral history projects, as well as maps and publications. NOBLE Digital Heritage will continue to grow as currently participating libraries contribute new resources and new libraries join the project. We hope you will visit us often.

A Pictorial Record of Melrose by the Melrose Camera Club circa 1947 contains photographs taken of various city and school buildings, religious institutions, historic homes, and select monuments and landmarks throughout the city of Melrose. The Camera Club was formed in 1933 with fifteen members who shared a mutual interest in black and white photography.
