Northern Essex Community College Digital Archives
Dating back to its founding in 1961, Northern Essex Community College has collected and preserved its historical record as a institution of higher education in the Merrimack Valley, and as a pillar of cultural influence. This digital archives is an extension of the archival holdings in the Harold A. Bentley Library, and serves as a window into role Northern Essex has played in the community for more than 50 years.
The items in the Digital Archives are organized into several large collections, and we encourage you to explore the many types of media and content that is available.
The NECC Digital Archives is by no means a static collection. It is growing weekly, and will continue to as we convert more of our materials into a digital format, and include more recent digtial native artifacts as they become available.
Enjoy the site! If you have any comments or questions, please direct them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Buildings and Grounds Collection comprises photographs of the physical properties of the college. Photos of the various buildings on both the Haverhill and Lawrence campuses included, showing interior and exterior views. Landscape and aerial views are also covered.
