Northern Essex Community College Digital Archives
Dating back to its founding in 1961, Northern Essex Community College has collected and preserved its historical record as a institution of higher education in the Merrimack Valley, and as a pillar of cultural influence. This digital archives is an extension of the archival holdings in the Harold A. Bentley Library, and serves as a window into role Northern Essex has played in the community for more than 50 years.
The items in the Digital Archives are organized into several large collections, and we encourage you to explore the many types of media and content that is available.
The NECC Digital Archives is by no means a static collection. It is growing weekly, and will continue to as we convert more of our materials into a digital format, and include more recent digtial native artifacts as they become available.
Enjoy the site! If you have any comments or questions, please direct them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This series, NECC: A Love Affair With Learning, was produced in May and June 1983, leading up to the college's 25th Anniversary Celebration. The series recounts the history of Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
The series consists of five programs, hosted by Professor John Spurk.
